Sad that the old divide between Christian and secular HE "sides" rears it's ugly head again. Our local support group decided to focus on our common areas, and accept our differences. I would have thought that in this situation it is particularly important to promote unity.
As a Christian who (along with my wife) chose to home educate his children, I often associated more with secular families - especially once we committed to unschooling. We haven't always fitted comfortably into either "side" - but have met some wonderful and amazing people from both sides.
Unity among oppressed minorities is essential if you are to survive the divide and conquer strategy.

I agree, there is strength in numbers. Lots of 1's may make 10, or 100 or 1000.
