Lesenswert ist der Artikel „Homeschoolers win asylum in U.S“ in der Washington Times vom 28.01.2010 in den Mr. Wildes ein Enkel eines Holocaust-Überlebenden sich zu Wort meldet: |
The comments of Mr Wildes, the grandchild of a Holocaust survivor in response to the article "Homeschoolers win Asylum in the US" in the Washington Times, 28.01.2010 are worth reading: "Michael Wildes, a prominent New York immigration lawyer, said it's "extraordinary" to see asylum being granted to people coming from a nation with which the U.S. has strong diplomatic ties and a military alliance.” It is a scandal that we, German homeschooling families must still flee or rather that we must flee as a result of the persecution and violence of the German "Youth Office". It is distressing to leave ones homeland, but escape from Germany is inevitable when one considers protecting the physical and mental health of our children from the violence of the "Youth Office" with their own forceful weapon in the form of the police. Many good and decent families are displaced and persecuted who want the best for their children. Everyone knows that in fact children are not learning in German schools and accordingly are taught nothing by the teachers. Either the parents must teach their children their schoolwork again in the afternoons, or the kids are bored to death in class. Violence, immorality, alcohol and drugs are there on the agenda there and everything is underwritten by the boards of education and Ministry of Culture . What have our children actually lost there? Familie Mahjoubi Assil have let me know that they have legal custody once again for their son, Marian.
It is not that unusual for the German government once they have ascertained that the family are no longer resident in Germany to award custody back to the parents, but still it must be quite some relief to this mum and dad.
They also say:
Marian is making his Final Tests for the 5. Grade.
All the best Marian with those exams.
![]() | This post (hopefully the first of a series) has been opened up to any resident or emigrated German homeschooler or proponent of learning freedom that wants to express their christmas wishes. They speak for themselves: |
Familie Mahjoubi Assil
Dear Friends of Educational Freedom,
We wish for a fair education requirement in the Federal Republic of Germany and the fall of Nazi-forced school attendance, so that innocent children can again experience joy in learning.
That can only come about, when we all work together for the rights of the children and the important institution of the family, showing that we as parents play a crucial role for the future of the country.
Merry Christmas and a healthy year in 2009.
