'A family from Hessen' have let me know that they have legal custody once again for their son. It is not that unusual for the German government once they have ascertained that the family are no longer resident in Germany to award custody back to the parents, but still it must be quite some relief to this mum and dad.
They also say:
The child is making his Final Tests for the 5. Grade.
All the best with those exams.
